Save any job to your tracker in one click
The Rezome browser extension is a button for Chrome and Edge. When you find a job, click it, and the job is added to your application tracker with the company, role and job text already filled in. It is free.
How it works
1. Add it to your browser
It works in Chrome, Edge and Brave on a computer. Pin it to the toolbar so the button is always there.
2. Open a job
Any job page: Naukri, Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Internshala, or a company's own careers site.
3. Click the button
It shows the company, role, location, pay, the people hiring and the job's text. Check it and press Save: the job is in your tracker without leaving the page.
No install: the bookmark button
If you would rather not install anything, or you use Firefox or Safari, this does the same job. It is a bookmark that reads the job page you are on when you click it.
- Show your bookmarks bar: press Ctrl + Shift + B (on a Mac, Cmd in place of Ctrl).
- Drag the button below onto that bar.
- On any job page, click “Save to Rezome” in the bar.
Drag this up to your bookmarks bar.
It follows the same rules as the extension: it runs only when you click it, reads only that page, and sends nothing itself. If we improve it, you will need to drag the new button again.
Install it (about two minutes)
The extension is on its way to the Chrome Web Store. Until it is there, you add it by hand. It is the same extension, and it takes five steps.
1. Download and unzip it
You get a folder called rezome-extension. Put it somewhere it can stay, such as Documents: the browser loads the extension from that folder every time it starts.
2. Open your browser's extensions page
Type chrome://extensions in the address bar and press Enter. In Edge it is edge://extensions.
3. Turn on Developer mode
It is a switch at the top right of that page (bottom left in Edge).
4. Click Load unpacked
Choose the rezome-extension folder. "Rezome: save this job" appears in the list.
5. Pin it
Click the puzzle-piece icon in the toolbar, then the pin next to Rezome, so the button is always there.
Two things are different from a store install. Your browser may remind you now and then that an extension is running in developer mode; that is expected, and you can dismiss it. And it won't update by itself: when the store version is out, remove this one and install that instead.
Why you might want it
You can already paste a job's link into your tracker, and for most sites Rezome reads the job for you. Some sites, such as Naukri, Indeed and Glassdoor, only show their jobs to a person's own browser, so a pasted link from them can't be read. The extension reads the page you already have open, so it works on those sites too, and it saves you copying the link at all.
What it reads, and what it doesn't
Only when you click, or where you choose
It does nothing until you open it: its button, its shortcut (Alt+Shift+S) or a right-click. If you switch on its corner button for a job site, it shows on that site's job pages only, and saves nothing until you press it. It never watches what you browse.
Only the page you are on
It can read the one tab you opened it on, at that moment. It has no access to your other tabs, your history or your other accounts.
Only to Rezome
Connected, it talks to your Rezome account and nothing else: it checks whether you've saved the job and how your resume covers it, and saves the job only when you press Save. It can't open your resumes, and you can sign it out from Signed-in devices.
From the job page it takes the job's title, the company, the location, the job description, the pay the posting states, the experience it asks for, its closing date, the people it names (a hiring team, a recruiter, an email address written in the job text) and the page's address. If you select part of the page first, that selection is used as the job text. A person is saved as a contact only if you tick them. The privacy policy covers the tracker in detail.
Once it's connected
Already saved?
On a job you have saved, it shows where it stands, with buttons to move it on: Applied, Recruiter screen, Interviews, Offer.
Your resume against the job
How many of the skills the job names are in the resume you pick, and which ones aren't. Counted, not guessed, and it uses no AI credits.
Recruiters from LinkedIn
On someone's LinkedIn profile, add them as a contact on one of your applications.
Right-click
Select a job description on any page and save it as the job's text, or add any selected text as a note on a saved job.
Paste a Naukri or Indeed link
Those sites hide their jobs from Rezome's server. Allow the extension once, and a link you paste into your tracker is read in your own browser: a tab opens for a few seconds and closes.
Good to know
The first time you click it, choose “Connect to Rezome” and sign in with Google; after that it saves straight to your tracker. If you'd rather not connect it, it can open Rezome with the job filled in instead. Browsers on phones don't run extensions; on a phone, paste the job's link or its text into your tracker instead. If the button gets something wrong on a site, tell us on the feedback page.
