1. Who we are and what this covers

Rezome (rezome.in) is a free resume builder made by Bitzberg. Bitzberg is an independent project run by an individual in India; it is not yet a registered company. These terms are the agreement between you and the person running Bitzberg for using Rezome. By creating an account or using the site you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with your data.

2. Your account

You sign in with a Google account; there are no passwords on Rezome. Your account is for one person, and you are responsible for what happens under it. You must be at least 16 years old to use Rezome. If you are under 18, please use it with a parent or guardian’s permission.

You can delete your account at any time from the account menu on your dashboard. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

3. Your resumes are yours

Everything you put into Rezome — your resumes, cover letters, job descriptions you paste, and notes — remains yours. We claim no ownership of it. You give us permission only to store it, show it back to you, render it into PDFs and other formats you ask for, and process it through the features you choose to use, so that the service can work.

You are responsible for what your content says: that it is accurate, that it is yours to use, and that it does not break the law or someone else’s rights. A resume is a statement to an employer; Rezome helps you write it but does not check it.

4. Acceptable use

Please don’t:

• use Rezome for anything unlawful, or to impersonate another person;
• upload files or paste text designed to damage or overload the service, or try to get around the limits we set (on file sizes, downloads, AI use, and the number of resumes or jobs per account);
• send spam or abuse through the feedback page or through comments on someone’s shared resume;
• scrape, copy or resell the service, its templates, or other people’s shared resumes;
• probe or interfere with the security of the service.

We may suspend or close an account that does any of this, and remove content that breaks these terms.

5. AI features

Some features send text to an AI model to read an imported file, review a resume, analyse a job posting, compare a resume with it, suggest how to tailor a resume to it, or prepare interview questions. That model does not write text: it sorts, picks and rates, and everything you read is your own text, the posting’s, or wording Rezome wrote in advance. The chat builder is different: it sends your messages to an AI model that writes your resume’s wording and its replies. Rezome removes any fact from its draft that you did not state, but the wording is AI-generated, and you are responsible for checking that your resume is accurate before you use it. They run only when you click them, leave them ticked or send a chat message, they are limited by a daily allowance, and the Privacy Policy describes exactly what each one sends.

AI results are suggestions, not advice, and they can be wrong. It never changes your resume on its own; nothing is applied until you choose to apply it. Check anything it produces before you send it to an employer. We do not promise that using these features will get you an interview or a job.

6. Sharing a resume

If you create a share link, anyone who has that link can view that resume, including any contact details on it, and leave comments on it. Treat the link like the resume itself. You can turn a link off or replace it at any time; the old link then stops working.

7. Ads and third parties

Rezome is free and may show advertising from Google AdSense on some pages. Ads never appear inside your downloaded PDFs. Signing in uses Google and AI features use a third-party AI provider, and those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not by us.

8. The service, and changes to it

Rezome is provided free of charge and as it is. We work to keep it running and to keep your data safe, and we make regular backups, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free, and we may change, limit or withdraw features. Keep your own copy of anything important by downloading it.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Bitzberg is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of Rezome — including lost data, lost opportunities, or the consequences of relying on AI-assisted results. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of India.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant we will say so on the site. Continuing to use Rezome after a change means you accept the updated terms.
