Academic resume template

Questions about the Academic template

Where do publications go in the Academic template?

Add a custom section named Publications and list each paper as an entry; it inherits the same dated-gutter style as experience. Custom sections can be reordered to sit wherever your field expects them.

Is the Academic template fine at more than two pages?

Yes. Academic CVs are expected to be long, and the layout paginates cleanly: the dated gutter continues on every page and entries are never split mid-item.

Is the Academic resume template ATS-friendly?

Single-column layouts are the most reliable choice for applicant tracking systems (ATS). Academic exports as a text-based PDF with standard section headings, never as an image, so every word can be read and searched.

Is the Academic template free to download?

Yes. Sign in with Google, pick Academic in the editor, fill in your details and download the PDF. There is no watermark, no paid tier and no limit on downloads.
