Portrait resume template

Questions about the Portrait template

Should I put a photo on my resume?

It depends on the country and field. Photos are common in parts of Europe, the Middle East and in client-facing roles in India, and discouraged in the US and UK. Portrait is for the cases where one is expected; otherwise pick a template without a photo frame.

What size and shape should the Portrait photo be?

Upload a square or near-square head-and-shoulders photo; the template crops it into its frame. The accent shape behind it takes your accent colour.

Is the Portrait resume template ATS-friendly?

All text stays real and selectable, so ATS software can read it. For a very strict job portal, a single-column template is the safest pick. Portrait exports as a text-based PDF with standard section headings, never as an image, so every word can be read and searched.

Is the Portrait template free to download?

Yes. Sign in with Google, pick Portrait in the editor, fill in your details and download the PDF. There is no watermark, no paid tier and no limit on downloads.
