GST input credit reconciliation workbook
Excel workbook that matches purchase register entries against GSTR-2B with VLOOKUP and pivot tables and lists mismatches by supplier. Cut one client's monthly reconciliation from a full day to about two hours; the firm now uses it for four clients.

Common mistakes on B.Com fresher resumes
- Writing "Tally" with nothing after it
- Say what you did in it. "Tally" appears on most B.Com resumes; "Posted 400 vouchers a month and prepared GSTR-3B for 9 clients in Tally Prime" is a candidate a CA firm can picture at a desk on Monday.
- An objective that could be anyone's
- "Seeking a challenging position in a reputed organisation" says nothing. Write two lines: your degree and percentage, the most useful thing you have done with accounts, and the role you want. The sample's summary is the shape.
- Hiding the percentage
- CA firms, accounts departments and bank recruiters all filter on graduation and Class XII marks, and many portals ask for them anyway. Put them in the education lines; leaving them out reads as having something to hide.
- The internship as a title and a duration
- "Internship at XYZ & Co, 5 months" is not experience. Say which books you kept, which returns you prepared and how many clients: "Reconciled bank statements for 6 clients and traced 40+ unmatched entries."
- A skills section full of subject names
- Business Law, Corporate Accounting and Business Economics are subjects, and a recruiter assumes every B.Com has them. Employers search for Tally, GST, TDS, Excel, bank reconciliation and accounts payable; list the ones you have actually used.
Questions about the B.Com fresher resume format
- What is the best resume format for a B.Com fresher?
- One page, single column, in this order: name and contact details, a two-line summary, education with percentages, skills grouped as accounting and tools, the internship with bullets, projects, certifications and a declaration. Education comes before experience because your marks are what most accounts employers screen on first.
- Should a B.Com fresher resume mention CA Foundation or CA Inter?
- Yes, if you have cleared a level: put it in certifications with the month, as the sample does. If you are still preparing, say "CA Inter (Group 1) — appearing May 2026" so the employer knows your plans. Leave failed attempts off; they are not asked for and add nothing.
- Which skills should a B.Com fresher resume list for accounts jobs?
- The ones recruiters search for and that you can do at an interview: Tally, GST returns, TDS, Excel (VLOOKUP and pivot tables), bank reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and any software a firm uses, such as Zoho Books.
